I started my week with a trip to TO. Going there for a bit of business and pleasure. I was super impressed with my driving-photog skills, when I managed to nab a shot of my companies logo going 60k on an off ramp. #champion
Even though nothing in life calls to my soul like the beauty of a green landscape, Toronto just does it for me in a way nature could never; it's human activity and zest for culture and success pull me in like a cheap whore. I want to be in her.
I opted for a basic outfit, comprised of 90% black. Simply because it let my exceptional networking skills and assertive flair be my bolder accessories.
Paired with a sweet pair of black 4-inch Steve Madden knock-offs and I was set to make an impression.
The conference was great. I made a ton of new contacts and dropped names like I was born to do nothing but remember people and their roles.
Afterwards I met up with a good friend and transformed from office basic to trendy fun!
My flats alone made this outfit - a guess snag from winners once upon a time. Paired with lace insert bodycon LBD and a thrufted army jacket I felt like I could walk into just about anywhere and make myself fit in. #iloveclothes
We went to a couple patios and drank like we had to drive home, which, regretfully was a true story #fail
I know this post lacked substance but I haven't blogged in over a year and I thought it was good enough to kick this one off.
